 Gatwick airport

Over 31 million passengers use Gatwick Airport every year.  Gatwick airport is 28 miles south of London. Take the M25 orbital motorway around to Junction 7, then take the M23 south towards Crawley, turning off west at Junction 9, from where Gatwick is clearly signposted. North and South terminal each have a 24 hour petrol station. Regular shuttles run between the long term parking and the terminals. Short and long term parking is available. Car hire is available from the airport.  The Gatwick Express runs trains every 15 minutes to and from London Victoria. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Thameslink also runs train services from the City, Bedford and Brighton to Gatwick, 4 trains run every hour. South Central runs services from Watford and London Victoria, these run every 15 minutes at peak times. All trains come into the South Terminal, but there is a free Inter Terminal Transit train every 3 minutes (journey time 2 minutes).
